Melt & Pour Soap Base
All soap bases have our "Cruelty-Free Status" and contain NO raw ingredients derived from animal by-products.
To Use: Cube the soap and place into a glass measuring cup. If your are making three 4-ounce bars, you would cut and weigh 12 ounces of soap base. Place the measuring cup filled with soap into the microwave and heat in short bursts until the soap is melted. Do not overheat, the soap should never come to a boil. Remove from microwave and add fragrance and color. We recommend using 2-3 teaspoons of fragrance per pound of soap base. If using our colors, squeeze out a small amount of color onto the tip of a spoon. Incorporate the color into the melted soap base. Continue adding color until the desired shade is reached.
